Many Thanks

Many many thanks to Momiji for her generous award. I definitely feel like I have acquired a new circle of friends with this scrap blog world. There are some many talented paper crafters out there. You keep me inspired. To accept this Circle of Friends award, I need to nominate 5 other crafters. The first group of ladies who came to mind was the Jazzy Inspirations DT. I feel so honored to be a part of this team. They are some truly talented women, and I am going to do my best to keep up with them. On second thought, I need to come up with something completely unique for them. So the nominees are...the newest additions to the blogs I follow.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Freestyle Music Park

I totally wish that I started following blogs years ago. I am amazed at how many projects I have completed over the last few months. I think that seeing all of the wonderful layouts and cards by others keeps me inspired and challenged.

Here's another layout from my recent beach trip. It is based on this week's sketch at 52 Sketches. The pictures are from our day at Freestyle Music Park. A theme park based on MUSIC!! What's not to love about that?

A Boy and His Monkey

The Kid loves his monkey. Bobo has been with us since the Kid was two, and Bobo goes everywhere. One of the more memorable vacations with Bobo was the trip to Disney when the Kid turned 5. He had to push Bobo around the park in a stroller....What a sight!!!

So I guess I should be thankful that Bobo usually stays in the car or in the hotel room now.

My Sunshine

He is my sunshine, my only sunshine, and makes me happy always. This summer the Kid planted sunflowers in the backyard. I wish I could say that the picture is of him in our backyard, but it's not. It is actually a sunflower field in Calera, Alabama. The cutout in the corner is picture of one of the sunflowers in the yard. It is so nice to see him caring for them. I think he is quite proud of his little garden. And I am very proud of my sunshine.

It's All About Me

Last night I pulled out this album kit that I bought a couple of years ago. The album is supposed to be all about me. I don't know how I will ever fill an album with pictures of me. I am usually behind the camera. I foresee a lot of pictureless pages. What a challenge this will be.

Remember

This week's challenge at Jazzy Inspirations is to use the colors teal/turquoise, black, and white. I've been wanting to do a memorial page or card for the King of Pop. So, here it is. Join in with this week's Jazzy challenge and you may win a couple of super cute stamps from Sunshine and Giggles.
