Pomp and Circumstance

It's that time of year. With all the Pomp and Circumstance, graduates are parading across the stage proudly toting a fancy piece of paper that symbolizes years of hard work. Well done, grads. The design for this card was inspired by Sketches.

NOLA

I have been eyeing Donna Downey's fabric scrapbooks. I really want to do one of those. To appease my canvas crave, I decided to do this piece. It features one of my favorite symbols, the fleur de lis, and a visit to one of my fav towns, NOLA.

Smile

While she calls it "Cleaning out my house," I call it "Making her friend SMILE." This weekend I received another care package from a friend. This time it was loaded with papers...all types of papers. Beautiful...unique papers. Oh, the projects I will make. Thanks, Girlie for making me SMILE.
