Say It In Scrap is hosting its DT Call. They want people who are expressive of their opinions, PC or not. I have been known to be quite opinionated and not always PC. However, until now I haven't scrapped anything that expressed some of these more controversial opinions of mine. Thanks, Say It In Scrap for the inspiration.
Working full time, it is often difficult to find time for my extracurricular interests. This blog is dedicated to the scrap in time that I can finagle for my scrapbooking and party planning addiction.

DINOmite
Second graders at OLS look forward to Dino Day each spring. The day starts with the annual parade of dinosaurs with the kids marching through the school showing off their dinosaur creations. The kids then give presentations about their favorite dinos. The rest of the day is filled with DINOmite crafts. What fun! Thanks to Creatively Yours for the sketch for my DINOmite layout.

Jazz Cat
I'm so very excited to be one of the Jazz Cats on Jazzy Inspirations. Having lived in Mississippi and New Orleans for many years, jazz and blues engulfed me and are major parts of my life. Music truly makes my world go round. I can't imagine life without music. Preserve Music.

Can't Curb His Excitement
Tonight I told the Kid that I was going to make a sign to take to his baseball tourney on Saturday. He quickly told me what needed to be on the sign. "Ok, ok, " I thought. Then he threw me a curve ball when he said he wanted a sign for field day at school tomorrow too. I wasn't expecting that. This week has been crazy busy with work, and I really had not planned on a craft break tonight. But....I can't curb the Kid's excitement. I am so thankful for my Cricut. I was able to quickly whip up a relatively cute sign. Go Buckaroos!!!
